it sounds like the Neosport line is low quality neoprene and workmanship!

& my question is: 'why does Henderson allow this stuff on the market?'...It's their fault & NO ONE elses....

I've put about 50 dives on my Neosport and then bought a drysuit. Granted it hasn't seen a lot of use but it still looks brand new. At about $3 or $4 a dive it's a lot better than renting.

Maybe there was a bad run of them made. I'm not making excuses for their QC but it does happen. If I got a lemon I wouldn't buy another one either.

Has anyone ever returned their Neosport back to the LDS?

As I said in my post, the suit was returned to the vendor after a few dives and I got my $$ back (minus some shipping). Maybe there were bad runs of neoprene and stitching for some period, but if that is the case then Henderson should have recalled the suits.

I used my suit for only a few days and it was literally falling apart and the neoprene was severely crushed as evidenced by the wrinkled exterior nylon. I wish now that I took photographs. Very disappointed with the suit AND the Henderson company.

I've used many brands in the past including Parkway, US Divers, Scuba max (held up extremely well), Sea Quest, and the Divers Diect economy brand EVO and probably many other brands over the last 35 years. The only suit that might have compared in poor quality was the Imperial suits, made for a short time around 32 yrs ago (if anybody remembers them).

I really need to act on this... send the suit back to Neosport, but that leaves me without a 7mm for the rest of the winter/spring. My O'Neill needs a new zipper.
