If you can, wait untill June and buy the ultimate wetsuit!!!! The Henderson Insta-Dry. It combines Hyperstretch, Gold Core, and an instantly drying outer layer...the best of all worlds. If you can't wait then get a Gold Core, they are easier to get into, pretty damn comfortable and they will be dry inside for your second and third dives. Hyperstretch is the most comfortable OUT of the water but not noticably better than Gold Core in the water (in terms of stretch)

The Gold Core is warmer too.

to kind of go along w/ this discussion, what do you guys think about a 6.5 suit either shortie or farmer but not together, for the caribean...this is my first time down there, I've only dove cold.

Has anyone seen the Henderson Insta-Dry available for purchase yet? I am looking for a new wetsuit, but I may hold off getting one if this suit will be available in the relatively-near future. I checked Henderson's web site and there is no mention of it anywhere... Thanks in advance!

It looks like Henderson's decided to call it "Aqua Suede" (apparently because the surface feels like suede) rather than Insta-Dry: http://www.hendersonusa.com/product_hyperstretch.html

I thought they were making one with a gold core lining though? I think it is supposed to be hyperstretch+aqua suede+gold core... Any news about this?

they said that the introduction of it is now delayed until at least September. It was originally supposed to be out by May of this year.
