Help needed! Have you ever experienced nitrogen narcosis while doing a recreational dive?

As I noted in my response, I have never felt impaired myself, and that includes countless dives in the 130-160 foot range teaching basic tech classes (no trimix). I only knew I was narced when some event made me realize I was not at full capacity.
I did many trimix dives in my UTD days before getting trimix certified through TDI. On my first TDI trimix dive, I was diving trimix and my instructor was diving air. He had us switch regulators for a few minutes. I couldn't tell a bit of difference. He said the difference was huge to him. I have since repeated that experiment several times, and it was the same each time--the person with whom I switch can feel the difference, but I can't.
Summary: Many people do not feel any effect of narcosis, but that does not mean they aren't actually experiencing it.
