I am a certified advanced open water diver looking to take basic/advanced nitrox within this year. Because of the basically good year-round weather in the Philippines, I hardly have to use my 3mm suit when I dive. I use 6lbs of lead w/o the suit and 8-10lbs with the suit. I am currently using a scubapro BC, MK20 S550 reg, Suunto Eon Lux consule computer.
I am looking to buy a second BC that will suit my recreational diving needs and can also serve my needs should i decide to lean towards tek in the future. Unfortunately, I can't try any of them out before buying them, as I would have to order them from shops here or through the net. Either the dive shop ships it here or I go directly to the net and have the stuff shipped myself.
I have researched on the following BCs :
Halcyon w/ pioneer 18lbs or 27lbs wings?
Transpac II with Travel or Trek or Rec wings?
Scubapro S-tek with Trav wings ot Rec wings?
I am also looking for a wrist computer that I can use with both air and nitrox:
Aladin Ultra Pro?
All your comments, advice, pros/cons, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
