Hey all
I just registered so I figured I would say hello and introduce myself.
I currently live in the upstate New York area, attending school, and will have senior status this coming fall. Although I have always been intrigued with scuba diving, I seemed to always have an excuse for not becoming certified (I have done the temporary vacation cert., though). Well, one of my buddies finally talked me into it a couple weeks ago, and I seriously cant wait until I complete my OW. Unfortunately I havent registered for classes yet (in a lab all day and cant find the opportunity to call), but I have found a LDS that offers PADI certified courses at the facilities indoor pool. I am hoping they offer an accelerated class so I can get a few dives in before the looong winters break sets in.
Aside from my newest interest, which is the reason I joined this board, I enjoy hiking and camping, fishing and hunting, reading, computers, biotechnology, and school/research. One last tidbit about me is that I am engaged to my high school sweetheart, and the big day is New Years Day of this coming year in Chicago.
Well, I already have a bucket load of questions for the members here, but this isnt the thread for that. See you around!
