Hello Scubaboard

I am new to scuba diving. I live in the Atlanta area. I will be doing my open water check out dives in Pelham Alabama in a few weeks. I welcome all suggestions/information that anyone has for a new diver. I will be traveling to Playa del Carmen/Cozumel next month.
I have snorkeled off 16 countries and am excited to take the next step.

Atlanta is a pretty good hub for airlines that fly to the Caribbean. Of course 8if you don't mind a LONG flight, Asia has far greater biodiversity. Enjoy your new activity and ScubaBoard.
