Living in Homestead you are so close to just about all the nicest water in FL, but I don't have to tell you that.
I live on the other coast in Charlotte County about 3 hours away. The clarity of the water over here is on most days at its best 10-15 feet. If I make it to homestead I may take you up the offer.
