Hi everyone,

I am currently living in Singapore for 5 months and want to take full advantage of my close proximity to the great diving in South East Asia... problem is, I can't seem to find very good information on specific destinations. The Borders Store in Singapore only stocks a Dive Malaysia book... and I'm going to Bali in a week and a half.

Can anyone recommend a reputable company and/or the best place to stay in terms of diving sites on Bali? I'm tempted to head to the Gilli Islands off of Lombok but it's a bit of a long haul considering I only have 7 days...

Any information would be greatly appreciated! I have my OW and AOW certification.

Also, does anyone know of any good dive clubs/stores in Singapore? It would be nice to meet some like-minded divers while I'm living here...

Thanks!

HR

Welcome to the board!
I can't help you much since it is still 35 days until I get to Bali. But I have been told that it is hard to go wrong with Lombok!
