Hi, my name is Bill ( dead dog ) and I live in Orange County. I started diving in 1959.
The first 10 years I had my equipment serviced at the Aquatic Center in Newport Beach by Omar.
Then I met a really sharp man in Santa Ana who then did all of my service work on my scuba equipment. Well he retired three years ago and moved to Montana, I'll miss him. So I started looking for someone new to service my gear. It seemed each time I went into a new dive shop most of them had no idea of what I wanted. One shop had a 13 or 14 year old kid working behind the counter filling tanks. I know most if not all shops send their work out to a private party to do it for them. Then the next time I went into one of these shops they had a new owner /manger and a new crew working behind the counter.
If any one here in O.C. that knows a good tech-service, please let me ( you can PM me if you want ) and I'm sure there are others who would like to get this information also.
I guess I only have about 20 + years of diving left to do and don't want to wait for my scuba gear to get serviced by someone I don't know. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill
