I'm planning on being in Crested Butte for the Independence Weekend...probably through the 5th. We are bringing dive gear and will likely dive Blue Mesa over the weekend. Another possibility is driving up to Lake City (50 miles south of Blue Mesa) and diving Lake San Cristobal. It is very clear and not a typical ultra high altitude lake, sitting at 9,003 ft. Lake San Cristobal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I've checked it out many times, but never dived in it.
