Yeah went to Antigua (beautiful water - crap wildlife and reefs) last year, and Sharm El Sheikh in February (awesome place - stunning reefs and wildlife all over the place - a photographers dream). Going back to Egypt at the beginning of of October for a couple of weeks - Looking forward to hitting the clubs there too!!!

Welcome to the board! If you decide that you need some place to stop over on your way to Hawaii, you should try South Florida.

Lots of dolphins, rays, turtles, etc here!

Best wishes and safe ascents,
Grier

haha - Yeah I'll be there at the same time - going on Sunday 4th October!!

I dived with Red Sea Diving College last time, and probably will do again.

well i'm gona stay probably at hilton waterfalls what ever is called ,any good other places that you know were to stay ? were the is not much freaks as i'm gong bymyself !

Not too sure where the Hilton waterfalls is, but we're at Hilton Sharks Bay just north of Naama Bay. We were there in Feb and the hotel was class!! We booked ours through Longwood holidays and they were very good too.

The dive operators will pick you up in the mornings from your hotel and drop you back at the end of the day too.

Oh forgot to mention, the hotel staff were all really nice guys (you don't see any women working there) - they chat up EVERYTHING!! Looks like you'll have fun ;)

hey thanks for the info.oh no that was what i was afraid off. will just change my hair colour into dark and get some brown contacts .ha ha ! plenty of those ones there!

haha.....that won't help you!!

You'll be fine though, it's all friendly kind of stuff.

Are you planning on diving whilst you're there?

A couple of definate places to chill out whilst you're there - The Camel Club (a divers bar in Naama Bay) and Pacha (on a thursday) has definately got to be worth a shot, which is just a few doors down. It's a wicked open air kind of club - blows anything London has to offer right out of the water - My jaw hit the floor when i walked in - waterfalls etc etc.

Doh, just read your other post which said you were going diving!! :bonk:

hahaha - Just read your profile too - So we have a biker chick on ours hands!!!

Had my fair share of bikes. Sold mine last year which paid for the camera gear. Had a Yam R1 - it was a bit too impractical having a bike to carry the dive gear with, so sold it off.....sob, sob.
