We drove around the entire island. The aquarium is awesome and they have really great food at the nicer restaurant there. Like I said, had we actually got some diving in, our opinion might have changed. We got to see what tourists, who don't dive, get to see. We got to the sugar museum to late on the Friday we were there. We stayed in Kahalui (maybe that is where we went wrong- LOL) but my major disappointment with Maui is all the timeshare pitchs you have to go through to get the discount, even if you are kama'aina. I would only return to dive. Maybe with us being there closer to Christmas there were more tourists? After hearing about Kauai not having much I am second guessing whether I want to visit or not. Any suggestions on that? Hey Al have you gotten the chance to do the Niihau dive? That is something I really really really want to do.
