Some friends of ours had a terrible sea lice problem when they went to Coz a month ago. Has it cleared up? My wife and I will be heading down on Thursday so we were looking for an update. They also had some problems with strong, unpredictable currents. Those of you who have been recently, did you have any problems?

Thanks,

Mark

I was there last week (8/2-8/6) and did get some stings on my hand and arm. Maybe about 20-25 in all. Not too bad though, since it is only concentrated on my had and arm. They are starting to go away now.

So yes they are still there, but I guess not quite as bad, since my other dive buddies did not have a problem with them. I didn't wear a wetsuit though.

Was there in June and had no sea lice problems whatsoever. There was a good current most of the time but it was never a real problem. We did do one night dive where the current was a little too strong, but the rest of the time it just made for effortless diving.
