I got these to use on Bonaire for my last trip. They are light but the sole is extremely rugged. Akona Low Cut Molded Sole 3.5 mm Boots (AKBT631) at LeisurePro On previous trips there I used Tilos boots and while they were OK the soles were just a bit too flexible and thin for Bonaire. I even stumbled across the devils teeth coral "shore" on Grand Cayman in full gear when I had to exit away from the only exit ladder in the area and the Akona's were fine.

Ill +1 the Akona low cut's, awesome Bonaire shoe...comfortable enough to wear around town between dives. Its actually the only shoe I take...climbed the Subi Brandaris in them the past 2 years and they work great
