How often does the Harbour get closed, Hoping to be ther in late Feb. I also agree flights are not cheap even to Cancun.

Anytime you are traveling to Coz between November and March, there is the possibility of a norte blowing through and closing the port.
It is a cold front. If a strong cold front moves across the states and out into the Gulf, chances are we will feel the effects a couple of days later.
During hurricane season (August through October) the port could be closed for weather as well.
It's just like anywhere else...up north you get snowstorms, here we get big waves.
The weather cannot be controlled or necessarily predicted, so plan your trip when it's a good time for you, and come down and have a good time.
