I am signed up for the annual two day open-boat Halibut Spearfishing Trip on the Peace Dive Boat out of Ventura Harbor, CA. I was talking with the new owners of the boat today at the Long Beach Scuba Show and they need a few more folks to sign up or else they will cancel the trip a week out. The boat departs the dock late on June 21st and returns June 23 in the evening/late afternoon. We usually do 5 or 6 dives the first day and 3 the second day. All dives are done in Halibut territory so it is not a pretty reef dive.
