While I generally don't like Halcyon gear, one thing I really do like about it are the corrugated hoses and cool extra-wide zip ties used to attach them. I've been able to find extra-wide zip ties, but not ones that, like the halcyon ones, run horizontally through the lock and therefore lie very flat.

Does anyone know if they can be ordered online from somewhere?

I don't think I've ever seen one of these fancy Halcyon zipties... Have you tried calling EE?

I would leave out the part about disliking H's equipment. JJ's brother would not like that.

Sure, and one wide and on normal together are even better than two normal... But the horizontal ones on the halcyon bcs are lower profile and look to hold better.

Anyway, extreme exposure was able to order them and sell them for 60c/pc. Thanks!

Can you post a pic of these things? I just use 2 normal ones, curious what I am missing :)

I really can't see how OP's question belongs to this forum.

Because the chances of finding someone who knows about the cable ties to which the OP is referring are far greater in the DIR forum, where divers who have experience and knowledge of Halcyon products and their proper use and rigging, are prolific.

I have 4 Halcyon wings and one of them has larger cable ties than those normally employed by the diving public and previously used by Halcyon. Calling Halcyon itself, or Extreme Exposure as was suggested, should provide an answer.

I agree with you about better chances finding some answers about Halcyon equipment here but getting an idea to ask manufacturer directly isn't rocket sience. Obviously some people have faster fingers then brain :D
