Ive used nickle plated brass Crimp connectors before on bungee, it worked really well when used with a circular hydraulic crimper.
I just cant seen to find them here.

They sell crimp sleeves for thick leader material.

Get one that fits the bungee you have, and find a fisherman with the proper crimper.

That will NEVER come apart though, so be sure that's what you want.

Do you feel you really need a retractor for that Tony? I just ordered my Halcyon BP/Wing today but when I tried my friends out I thought it was easy to dump air with the bungeed inflator.

given the short length of the Halcyon hose. Just seems if I'm in a slight heads up profile it's easier to lift a bit more and dump a bit-o-air; or just do the butt lift and use the rear dump. Air will seek the highest point though, so I use it, sorry UP.

[*] The shifting of air in the 55lb Explorer wing is startlingly and unaccountably loud, even through a coldwater hood. I've never noticed any audible shifting with my Pioneer wing, so this was an unpleasant surprise on my first doubles dive....especially since I was using the drysuit auto-dump and the lower dump on the wing at the time I first noticed the wing noise. I have to add that I never noticed this with my old 55lb Classic-style wing.

Anyone have an explanation for this?

i have an explanation, bad design however this can be fixed by raping bungies around those lose wings

This is only an annoying problem when horizontal with head tipped back looking forward. If you are swimming in a head up incline you wouldn't notice it. If you have the older 36# wing with STA you wouldn't notice it.

sounds like if you are diving in the correct position then it is going to be an anouyance.

but remember only buy halcyon even if it is a bad fit, because if you use any other equipment you would not be doing it correctly

It is... but it isn't as bad as *raping bungies*

True position is only as bad as the enviroment you are diving in.

tell me about those "raping bungies" tell me about air in your wing moving from one side to the other.

if the movement of air is better than those damb bungies tell me why specificly
