what depth? the hole,or surface? Top may be colder.

It had to have been anywhere below the thermocline, my guage read anyway.

But yeah, the deep hole (80') was at least that.

I have been at Haigh the past couple weekends and am surprised at the lack of turn out. I was expecting much more people.

I know there are other spots to dive in the area, including this small lake to the N/NE. :)

I almost feel special when I'm out there and there are only a handful of others, unlike July when you have atleast a hundred.

Thoughts? Comments? Anything about life in general?

If your going to go - post it.... I don't have a regular buddy in this neck of the woods - so I'm not going to trapse all the way down on the off change someone may be there... Heading to Gilboa this weekend for the M&G3. Next weekend is open if anyone is interested in having a GLWC M&G Illinois Stlye.... Even if its jsut a handfull of folks...

Well, I'm not really complaining about the lack of turnout, just surprised. Having the quarry pretty empty is cool, maybe not for Tina though.

Netmage, Sandy and I are getting use to our drysuits and we have just been doing shallow dives mostly..nothing exciting...we wouldn't want to bore anyone to death. Then again, if you're looking to just get wet....
