Well, if you just look at the classes it cost $200 excluding Quarry fees, but after I bought my light kit, which is needed because the DM does not provide lights, and my new Pinnacle Artic wet suit package, lets just say around $650. The nice thing is, going forward all I will need to rent is tanks. This should make it allot easier to get out there.

As far as courses: Night, Deep and Nav are required, I took Buoyancy and Search & Recovery as electives. I was going to take wreck, but I think I will gain more skills from search and recovery.

Thanks for the info....I would really only need to get the light then. Just one classroom session, right?

Cool pics. I think I'll go diving this weekend!

No classroom sessions. Just on site planning. I was instructed to read the "Adventures in diving" book and fill in the questions of the chapters for dives that I would be doing. I hope we review each chapter before we dive them.

Even better! I was told it required one classroom session. Hm.

Duane, do you have an OMS backplate? I saw someone with Below H20 with a BP on Sunday....

I'll be back out at Haigh around 3:00pm on Saturday and the morning/early afternoon on Sunday. Look for probably the only person with a camera/strobe setup. :)

Jason,

I have a Dive Rite Rec Wing and BP. I won't be back out to the quarry until the middle of next month.

I'm stalking you!!!

I was back out there today...visibility was WAY better than last week..I'd say at least 10'. Actually had some fun diving today. :)
