Temps ran between 38F and 41F on the shallow side on Saturday. No thermocline right now and the fish are still torpid so you can get one up on the bluegills to start the season right.JBRES1:What was the water temp at the Quary this past weekend.
The web site claims the water is in the 50's, is that true ?
Thanks, Jim breslin

I've worked at both shops oxygen cleaning and servicing cylinders and valves and I'm intimately familiar with the protocols and the effort required to do the job right. Both shops were/are meticulous in the work that they perform and have invested heavily in the equipment, materials, parts, supplies and training required for the work - work that is hard, dirty and time consuming. Are they overpriced? I don't think so but, unless price is your only criterion, that's a subjective evaluation. The fact that so few shops are doing the work indicates that it's not a particularly profitable line of work and I know that both shops offer it because they believe it is an essential service - not because they make a bunch of money from it. As one of the techs who has been doing the work, I can tell you I'm not getting rich from it, either.ppo2_diver:I O2 clean tanks. I've used Scuba Emporium in past and Scuba Systems. Both are over priced for O2 cleaning tanks.
