First time in the Lot, France as a C1 diver - advice?

I think Cunhac is doable too with GUE restrictions, though if the Lot is flowing a bit it’s a bitch to get to.

If you visit Combe Negre a 60m (IIRC) rope is helpful for your return up the Dordogne.

Someone mentioned Marchepied, but you’d have to push your twins in front for the entrance. SM only unless you’re French!

Saint Saveur could offer a nice dive, but it gets deep quickly.

If it’s very wet you might not enjoy it - I went last September and ended up at Marchpied three times, plus the likes of Bial, Monsieur and Marcenac - all best enjoyed in a wetsuit with smaller bottles.

All of the strutting Euro tech-divers were crowded into Landenouse and Ressel on the damper days. Cabouy looked shite. I managed a nice little dive at St George’s (just beyond Lavaur and back), but the vis was limited, so not everyone’s cup of tea.

This is very accurate. The shite you’ll see the French divers do is insane. Like independent doubles held together with a ratchet strap you’d use to hold down cargo, attached to a poodle jacket style bc
