Great report, so thrilled you decided to go with Steve. He is responsible for my back kick. Steve is beautiful in the water, as an instructor he is extremely patient and encouraging. :D

Many thanks for posting and congratulations!!!

.

Your very positive review of Steve was one of my motivating factors to take the class with him. I'm very glad we did....even the hard/frustrating parts managed to be fun in the end!

Nichole, thanks for the trip report. It's great to hear how your class turned out! Congrats on the pass!

Let's meet up someday soon for a celebration dive :)!

Yes, let's do that! Hopefully before you take off for SE Asia again

There is no denying that Steve is a great instructor who cares and hugs. :D

:hm: Wonder if I can get commission or a referral fee from Steve...I have more gear to purchase?

Steve - If you're reading this, I'll have my attorney contact your attorney.

Congratulations on taking the class and passing!

Steve is a genuinely nice guy who will do whatever he can to help you succeed. He was a great asset during our class with Bob. "Elbow in to Win" :D

Congratulations to Nicole, Stephen, and Cody for taking the GUE Fundamentals class. You guys worked extremely hard as a team, and it showed in the progess you made throughout the weekend. It was a pleasure to dive with you guys during your class. Steve Millington is an extremely diligent instructor dedicated to helping you achieve your best underwater. It was a privilege to help with your class. Congrats! Thanks for sharing your report.

Well done on your class :)

Most backup lights are going to be off (dead) if you are re-stowing underwater. Otherwise, yes turn it off and push on the bezel to confirm before stowing. Most of this stuff becomes pretty much autopilot after awhile.

I like to keep a backup handy on pretty fish dives when I don't have a primary. I wind up taking it out and re-stowing it several times each dive as I see different holes I want to take a look at.

I am very proud of the effort, dedication and focus Nicole, Stephen and Cody put forth on their GUE Fundamentals class. The dive community now has three more very skilled teammates! It was a pleasure helping you guys through the learning process and watching you develop into such a well-focused team.

Awesome job and congratulations!
