I just received a notice that I'm to be in trial the week before and the week after the dive. I'll be spending the weekend working out of a hotel instead of diving.

To Spectre, Of course I will still pay up if you can't find an alternate.

We'll do our best to find a replacement. I've got two on deck, and I'll check with them, and otherwise we'll see what we can do.

Doah... I was going to include that in my post but I forgot as I was looking up who I had for alternates...

I popped him an e-mail, but I've not heard back. Sometime in the near future I should be able to sneak out some time for a real phone call!

Oh... and don't worry about the pest status... if I know you'll keep pestering me, I know I won't have to continually remember to do it, 'cause you'll remind me! It's convenient!

I was looking forward to it as well. I will try to free up, but I seem to recall that something bad might happen if I settle the case because "I really want to go diving that weekend". I think that it involves having a whole lot more time to go diving than I might have anticipated.
