Ok... Talked to Captain Rob, and the 25th was booked. I Both the weekend of the 7th and the 14th were completely free. I talked to MSilvia and confirmed that Sunday the 8th is bad for him. I talked to Bushman and he was a definate for the 15th, I talked to Captain Rob, and we've got the 15th.
As stated, capacity is 12, but since we've not all dived together before, he would prefer 8. So 8 it is, and I'll form a waiting list as well, and as we get closer [like labor day weekend] I'll see about kicking it up to 10 depending on how many we have committed.
I didn't get a time from him yet, but we're booked on the afternoon trip on Sunday September 15th. I went with the afternoon for a few reasons. First being I hate mornings, secondly so that those with a drive don't have to get up at some ungodly hour, and thirdly... the best part... he said the afternoon trip has a chance of getting in a 20 minute or so snorkel at Duck Island with the seals.
He is well aware that there will be a wide range of abilities, and the plan will definately be basic OW dives, so don't feel you aren't experienced enough....
Now here's the kicker... I'm on the hook for this boat, so if we don't fill up in the next couple of weeks, and/or there aren't a lot of maybes, I'm going to free up some spots... so _please_ check your schedules as soon as possible and let me know. PM me with your phone number and real e-mail address, oh... and your name when your ready to commit. Once you do that, your on the hook for the charter fee unless we find a replacement or I'm able to free up the spots. I'm sure it won't come to that, because if we don't fill up, I'll offer it up to my dive club the meeting before that weekend...
So without further adieu, the best I can do is just go by who's posted "interest"
