Hello all Fellow Aquanaughts

This is just to introduce myself as a new member of scubaboard. I was introduced to the site by a verry good friend and fello dive buddy.

Up to a month ago I was a weekly DM for my local club "The Whaler", down in the Natal province in South Africa. I therefore had the opportunity to dive the beest dive site I know, Aliwal Shoal, on a regular basis.

Unfortunately I now find myself in Scotland ( Aberdeen ), where I am undergoing training as an ORV pilot. The result of this is that I am extreemly dive starved and cannot wait to get home and dive.( After greeting my missus of course. )

So, until then, I will be closely monitoring this site for interesting discussions, and look forward to a good chat on a mirriad of subjects.

Till later, and safe diving.

Welcome to the site, hopefully it will help ease your dive starvation untill you manage to hit the depths once again.

Glad you found us! This is a great place to spend your SI, but watch out, it's addictive!

Sorry that you're "dive starved", but with daily doses of SB, you'll make it through.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

Greet the wife, or go diving first - hard question...??

Hello Meneer,

Glad to see you on the 'Board. I am sure that you will enjoy it here. It is a pretty good substitute for diving (for those of us that can't get to the water). Unfortunately, though, you can't log the hours spent here... ;)

Looking forward to seeing you around!

Chow,

Andrew
