While Shark Tales and I were diving on the deep ledge in Jupiter on Friday we had a Great White shark come right up to us. This shark was super chill and just was cruising down the reef in about 130 feet. Shark Tales was able to capture some awesome video of this white shark. It was an experience we will never forget. Enjoy the video!

PS: This white shark did not have a tag and appears to be a new shark that has not yet been cataloged. Shark Tales named her Bobbi :D

I believe this is the clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNt1KV5Vgjg

From what I heard, the Emerald dropped its divers on the ledge maybe 30-45 minutes later and didn't find her. Florida Shark Diving was also working that area later in the morning and didn't find her. Both charters were out looking over the weekend and didn't see her; I was on the Saturday morning run and we tried ringing the breakfast bell out in about 200 feet of water. My bet is Bobbi kept on going south. Based on the tag data from OCEARCH, Katharine didn't stop and smell the roses (or bait) on the deep ledge either when she came through last summer.

Really lucky encounter - arguably a few minutes one way or the other and it wouldn't have happened.
