Cdemith- that sounds awesome right now. I give you permission to have one for me as well.

On another note, is Ironshore better than Caybrew? Preferences? All beer tastes better down there anyway...

Caybrew is kinda like Yuengling. Ironshore is a bock in name only. It is a darker amber with good flavor and an ABV of 7% :)

Thanks to Releck97 I can very happily report that the water temp at Sunset House shore dive was 86 at surface and 81 at 80 feet!!!
Releck, the Ironshore is going down easy! Thanks again.
Now that we have successfully manipulated you into giving us your daily dive log, how was the diving today and where did you go?
if you get a chance, head over to Over the Edge in Old Man Bay for some good grub at modest prices.

86 air, 81 surface, 79 at 110'. Babylon was great, viz not as good as South shore, still 70+ ft. DM speared a lionfish at Fishtank, brought in 2 very curious/hungry reef sharks. I like the Caybrew. I love the diving. AM and PM tomorrow then home Friday :-(

Who did you dive with?

In case you can't tell releck and I are vicariously living through you til we get there!

Lopez and Releck, just return the favor. Final dives done this morning. Flying home tomorrow. We went with Tortuga at Morrits on East End. They are absolutely awesome. Popped out of a swimthrough @ 95 and saw a huge hammerhead 25' away. This was at High Rock Dropoff on the Corner. Second dive was at Big House. DM speared 4 lionfish bringing in a reef shark. He was happy to swim right up to us. When a second much larger more erratic one joined we left the area. Cue the Jaws music now. They trailed us for a couple of minutes until we got to the top of the reef. Great dives, great trip! Ill be back soon.

Oh, water was 81 until 80+'.

Wow. Those dives sound great.

Will def return the favor! And I'll have a Caybrew for you as well

You dove some of my favorite sites: Babylon and High Rock are truly world class! Seeing a hammerhead is ALWAYS special! You enjoyed the calmest waters of the entire winter. Congratulations! I'm envious! We had flat clam conditions two years ago that allowed us to shore dive the entire island. We dove the north side from Old Man Bay down past Babylon and also dove the Blowholes and Breakers on the South side. This year, we were able to do both, but we had to "thread the needle" and be very aware of the winds, waves and tides to make it happen. Thanks for the reports :clapping: It was great to "hear" your enthusiasm in your words. Safe travels home! Best, Capt. Rick
