Steve,

Yeah, I like max bottom time too. Wasn't a problem with Cayman Diving School or Ocean Frontiers. You can dive your own profile if you wish with OF even on the first deep dive.

My brother really impressed me with his free diving. He has taken classes in with some of the record holders. That mermaid had to be 50 plus feet down. He swam down, grabbed her hands and pulled himself in front of her to get a frontal shot and then swam around to get a side profile, all the while being very relaxed in his swimming. Wished I could have scuba'd that spot in day and nighttime.

Ah, well. Next time...

Scubaskinlvr, glad the post was helpful. I tried to include as much info as possible on the shore diving.

Socref2003, it's a very nice spot and Ari seems like the most congenial of hosts.
I highly recommend the scooters. Much fun. The dive shop personnel were very pleasant.

Thanks for sharing. Your info sealed the deal on where our group will go in 2010-Cobalt Coast and Dive Tech. I will be sharing your picks and links with our group as they request more info.
Great job!
Chuck
