The reason the dock at Cobalt Coast is used only occasionally is that the water depth tends to be too shallow, except at times of high tide and low surf. A good thing about CC is that they move their boats to where the best diving is for the day, then drive you by van to the dock.

My son and I had a great time at Cobalt Coast with Divetech in March of 2007 and May of 2008. We left from the West Bay dock every trip in 2007 but left from the Cobalt Coast dock every dive in 2008. The meal plan at Cobalt is excellent though we also had a car and ate in SMB or town a few times each trip. Divetech has a great DPV dive from Cobalt to Lighthouse Point. Both shore diving sites are very good. We generally also do some afternoon, night dives with Cayman 6 Pack Divers/Cayman Diving School. Renee Knight and her staff are very flexible and very accomodating.

Good diving, Craig

I stayed at Grand Cayman Suites this July .Wife and I loved the beach. You won`t find a better dive experiance than with indigo diver Chris and Katie are great and there are 6 divers max. Katie picked me up at my hotel, it was only a few min. drive to boat. Didn`t even have time to finnish my coffee.

Moritts tortuga on the east end or sunset house on the west end. The east end has less dived spots but underwater scenery is amazing. Dive shop at the resort too. Tortuga divers.
