Just got back from GCM last week. I cannot recommend Neptune Divers strongly enough (read my recent trip report). I would not miss out on a shore dive at Turtle Reef at the Cracked Conch (a restaurant) with Sundivers.

Any recomendations on a shop to dive with on Grand Cayman. Looking for a place that does'nt pack 50 people on a boat if possible. Like it a little more personal than that. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have to put a vote in for Divetech. They're really great and I like that they provide as much or as little assistance as you want. If you are interested, they do a lot of advanced training so you can try out tec diving or rebreathers or any of the specialty classes.

Their second location, Lighthouse Point is a fantastic shore dive with a historic anchor. Check it out on their website.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me.

Guess I'll be the third to recommend Don Fosters. We were there four weeks ago and went with them. The service was great and the dives were awsome.

Another vote for Diver's Down. They were very professional and did a good job of departing on schelule. Also, They have boats that pick up divers on Seven Mile Beach across form the Marriott.

Another vote for Ocean Frontiers - absolutely the best dive op I've experienced. Get your gear on-board the first day and you won't worry about it again until your last dive - crated, carried, cleaned, and set-up every day. Neil, Britta, Sam, and Ellie are awesome, and Ellie will get some great shots of you. We dove with them in October and will absolutely dive with them again. Not the most convenient place to SMB, but the east end diving was incredible.

We've been to Grand Cayman a few times, and are going back next spring. Of the different dive operators we've tried over the years, we've ALWAYS have a positive experience with Don Foster. Another well-known place that has accommodations, a dive shop, some food, and a photo center was very unsatisfactory because they were indifferent to our needs. You know where I mean. We also dove with a small operation on the other side of the island who were fabulous, but I don't recall their name. (Can look in log book if anyone wants to know.) We will dive with Don Foster next spring because no matter who has worked there any time we've gone, the attitude and care has been the same.
