I am really pleased that you are giving it a try, we love TNI. What type of room did you reserve? East End Diver owns a Turtle Nest Condo and I have gotten a lot of great information from him!

Bodden Town is more of a residential area, unlike the much more popular 7 Mile Beach and West Bay, but we prefer to stay in a quieter, less developed, and less expensive area. And it is located in the middle of the island so you are not too far from anything.

The East End and North Point are nice areas, with good diving, but they are pretty far away and there is usually a 45 minute drive to most of the attractions, and that is a bit too far IMO.

TNI is a small family-owned inn. It sits on the water, there is a nice little beach, a small pool, and a big gas barbecue that guests can use. It is clean and pleasant and the people are lovely and you get maid service every day except Sunday - it's paradise - enjoy!
Your recommendation, the central location and the fact that it isn't in a commercial area made the choice easy. Eric and I both prefer small, privately owned business opposed to large impersonal resorts. When I booked last October there were only 2 rooms still available, one ocean view and the other a beach front appartment. We picked the beachfront.

The gardens also have the plus, if you are like my wife and into iguanas. They have a number of blue iguanas there. The bigger and in sunlight ones will look bluer. The gardens are spread out so you can do some walking. We saw several of the blues. Big ones were over by the small lake. We did the gardens in the AM and I did som

Tukka's on the east end was really good. There were several couples and all liked the food.

Beachfront is great. Ocean view is nice but you might be bothered by noise from the street. Last October we were in Apt 6 and it was upper floor, beachfront with a king size bed. I hope you have a great time!

So wanted to add a quick note here for a non-diving activity. If you have the chance, be sure to do one of the tours to bioluminescence bay. Myself and some of the other Divetech staff went over last night - none of us had ever done it before, and it was one of the best things I have ever done. Imagine 3 dive instructors playing around in the water like little kids for almost 90 minutes. All of us agreed it was amazing. The bright moon does make it a bit harder to see - some of the tours wont go out when the moon is out. This particular op used a tarp to create shade from the moon.

We had this impression that this would be similar to the bioluminescence we see on night dives. Nothing could be further from the truth, it was about 20 times more impressive than I thought. Well worth it.

I have heard the bioluminescence bay tours mentioned but don't know anything about them, just you tell us more about the tours and the experience, thanks!
