Yes I have but I usually turn one of them off/or direct the light away from the subject so it is not too bright.

And I'm surprised you turned them away instead of lowering the intensity.

most of the time I lowered the intensity to minimum. since the light angle was around 120 degrees the light pattern was more spread than a focus beam.

I have my rig all set up. Do you recommend any sort of carrying case or bag for a rig this size?

I decided to go with two Sola 2000s! For 599, I couldn't pass it up.

I would! The macromate mini is VERY tricky to use and get used to. Sometimes I wish I had a GH5 just because it allows you to take true photos.

But if you're just doing videos, this thing rocks!
