most of the time I lowered the intensity to minimum. since the light angle was around 120 degrees the light pattern was more spread than a focus beam.

I have my rig all set up. Do you recommend any sort of carrying case or bag for a rig this size?
 
Have you gotten a chance to use them yet? Looking to go for a similar setup, would you recommend?
I would! The macromate mini is VERY tricky to use and get used to. Sometimes I wish I had a GH5 just because it allows you to take true photos.

But if you're just doing videos, this thing rocks!
