Dive computer, camera, and if you use one, your prescription mask. Everything else in the belly of the plane in a couple of hard-sided Pelican cases!

Those weigh too much. First thing I do in packing is weigh my bags, use the lightest, then cushion things as needed.
They pay off in spades for me - the baggage monkeys have never damaged a single piece of my gear!
