does anyone have any videos or pictures of using the chest mount for diving? ive been wanting to try and us the camera more hands free lately just to get on the moment video with more or less first person POV.

i was thinking of getting the chest strap and mounting the camera up side down pointing slightly below my face to get a more or less first person shot with my arms in view when swimming in trim.

any one try this?

its more or less like this

tho this is the only video i can find using this method. tho in this video the camera is on his or her face. not below it

idk about those. i feel that the camera would catch alot of hose action as well as provide a catching spot for line or something where i cant see that well. but again idk. also POV is not centered

I use the Chesty when I dive. And only in my most recent dive did I ever take it out to pan it around some.
Here are a few

I tried it on a couple dives and most of the footage was throw away due to inflator hose hanging in the shot. I went handheld on lanyard after that. I might try again but I need to practice different ways to keep the hose out of the picture without limiting it's accessibility in an emergency situation. If you had it tucked somewhere and had a stuck inflator valve this could exacerbate the situation.

Also you can't pan, close up, or take selfie shots with a chesty. How close do you wanna get to that moray with your chesty? :)
