I'm looking for some hardwearing 5mm neoprene gloves. I find they tend to get fairly quickly destroyed on the thumb and fingertips by opening a lot of boltsnaps. Has anyone seen any brands which have good hardwearing material in these areas.

DIY suggestions also welcome...

Any of the kevlar covered cloves should do the job. I use the Scubmax Supratex 5.0 all summer harvesting oysters, crabs, crayfish and spear fishing and they are doing just fine. All this in the Puget Sound area.

I like Harvey's Titanium Gloves. When the tips get worn I dip them in Tool Dip and get a few more dives out them.
