Had a positive experience with Scuba.com.

Summary: I was able to use a very old credit and the phone sales agents did extra followup I needed to complete my order twice.

Details: I purchased some camera gear from LeisurePro 10+ years ago, which I ended up returning some and getting a $200 credit.

I recently contacted them with my customer info. They found and validated my credit so I could use it to purchase gear.

Two agents, Mario and Miguel, went what I thought was above and beyond to help me. The first agent shepherded validating the first credit so I could use it, then a second agent helped with returning the first order that didn't fit so I could use it to order yet again. They both called me multiple times and followed up on getting the orders taken care of quickly.

I thought retaining the credit across 10 years and being purchased by another company was unusual and would not have been surprised if they didn't. Putting a lot of help into completing my purchase, and contacting me quickly was also great.

I would buy from them again in a heartbeat, but would probably old school call them given my experience.

Excellent! I've always had great service from LP/Scuba.com. I order from them quite a bit and they are always great!

I don't think LeisurePro was bought by another company, but just bought the new name. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them under either name too.

Correct. No one bought LeisurePro. They bought Scuba.com. I don't recall if they just bought the URL or the entire former retailer.

Thanks for the correction. I recall now that Mario the salesman called out that the reason they were able to find my credit was because Leisure Pro changed to Scuba.com rather than the other way around.

Glad to hear others have had a positive experience.
