There are sooooo many restaurants in that area, it's hard to make recommendations. Personally, I love Spanish and Cuban food. There is a real Spanish restaurant, La Barraca, 115 S 20th Ave in Hollywood that is to die for. Real Spanish food prepared by real Spaniards, not suedo-cuban spanish. If you want some of the best Cuban, I recommend Don Arutro in Ft. Lauderdale, 1198 SW 27th Ave, it's right down from the Sheriffs office and is always full of cops. I'm not sure about the Venezuelan restaurant, but I do know of a Venezuelan bakery called the Bread Shop, 6301 N Andrews Ave. It has wonderful cafe, cachitos, empanadas, arepas, and sandwiches. I consider it a must stop.
I know there are also a plethora of Greek, Thai, Italian restaurants in the area also, just about anything you want. I hope these help you alittle.
