I'm glad to see the Canucks move on but I don't think they will have an easy go with Dallas when the time comes. During this round I think the Canucks are going to have a harder time with the Wild than Dallas will with the Ducks, leaving the Canucks with a more run down team after two hard series.

I wouldn't want to pick the winner in a Dallas/Vancouver round. What do I know anyway, I wanted to put my money on my Oilers to beat Dallas.

I've got to cheer for Vancouver -- I can get a beer out of it if the Stars don't win the West (more importantly, I owe a 6pack if they do.)

As for the Conn Smythe, if Dallas does win I can't think of a more deserving player than Modano - one of my all time favorite players along with Burnaby Joe, Mark Recchi, Trevor Linden. All hard-working individuals who have skills and don't subscribe to the meathead hockey (a la Chris Pronger).

ARE YOU SERIOUS???? I happen to like the Flyers somewhat, but I'm not in love with anything from Philly (except maybe cheesesteak sandwiches). Philly fans are the rudest in all of North American sports. I can only barely tolerate Jeremy Roenick. The only real reason I picked the Flyers is that I think they're trying to exorcise some previous frustrations by getting to the Finals (where more frustrations await them).

Besides, it would be SWEET if the Stars beat their old coach (Ken Hitchcock) in the Finals....
