was a myth for the Ontario teams last night. 2 OT periods and then Ottawa scores mere moments after TO does.
ScubaTexan: unlike Pez and dvleemin I shall remain hopeful but cynical until the Oil eliminates Dallas (whoops! should have said "if" there, shouldn't I? ) but they *are* up 2-1 right now.
Ah well, any Canadian teams that end up off the ice and onto the greens early can at least be consoled by the fact that golf is now a 'Canadian' sport too

The Oilers may not have to worry about the Canucks. That's okay with me, the Oilers would have a better series against the Blues.

Probably more cynical than hopeful, because the Oilers have been in this position before and ended up losing to Dallas. It will happen again. I suspect Mike Weir will have a whole team of Oilers joining him on the golf course for tee times next week.
BTW: I cannot believe Anaheim is about to elminate Detroit! What's up with that???
