You still haven't named a single benefit. Nice try, though.

This is a prime example of someone making assumptions without having the benefit of experience.

Actually, my 17 yr old daughter and I (Note we have actually used the gloves) noticed no significant loss of dexterity in the gloves.

We operated a camera...

We operated a flashlight...

I removed a small ziplock baggie containing some of my Mom's ashes from the zipped pocket on her cummerbund, opened the ziplock baggie and released the ashes into the water.

We manipulated our gauges & dive computers...

She removed her regulator from her mouth & replaced it...

We cleared our masks...

I unclipped my Pony Regulator and switched from my Primary to my Pony...

Of course I didn't try to pick my butt or nose because there was gear in the way but I think you get the drift.

Don't say what can or can't be done wearing them until you've tried...

I wonder why you nay-sayers are wasting keystrokes and bandwidth with your negativity, nothing is going to change your minds and you come across as real closed-minded PITAs. There are many, many other threads on ScubaBoard for you to enjoy, rather than continually repeating your gripes.

Granted, these gloves MIGHT be great, but I don't need to try them to know they won't help MY diving.
In any case, it's great that the OP is letting people try them for free.

Would still be nice to hear how these will improve diving (as opposed to just being different). Moving around isn't specific to these gloves.

Why?, Seriously, If you are convinced they won't help your diving, why would you care?

So, you've "got nothing" in terms of possible benefits too?

:eyebrow:

Exactly.

Because I'm curious how they can help others. Seriously, can YOU offer any insight? You've been asked many times...

Are you really curious? If you are really that curious, just ask for a pair and try them yourself. Or, do you just want to hang back and tell others that they don't need them, fine, we got your message.

I've already said, they won't help MY diving. I'm curious how others believe they will benefit their diving. The fact no one seems to be able to post a response is ... odd. Thanks again for your non-answer.

I doubt it. For someone who is so positive that they won't improve your dive experience, the only reason you are posting here is to let any know that likes these gloves that they must be somehow lacking in their skills and you will happily be here to point that out.

just met with roy over coffee ..he's pretty cool ..anyway hooked me up with 2 pair ..one to fit bare hands and a pair that fits over my 5mm gloves...i'll give um a try both pairs both ways ...i can see them being good for surface swims ..who knows ..i'll make my decision after i give them test beat ...as for the "expert" on everything ...honestly ..nobody said you needed them to improve or worsen your "perfect" diving form ...if you choose not to try them ..so be it ...but what gives you the right to continually flame something you haven't touched or tried?

an old china man once said "an expert is a man who is sometimes correct"
