What I have is the Transplate, not Transpac. I just used it that one Saturday, then switched to the single piece of webbing which I knew I was going to hate. To my surprise I really like it much better. The Transplate is sitting in my closet.

When I get more webbing, my backplate will be a true single piece. I currently wear my confirugation as one would wear a single piece. I took off the chest strap, and I don't have quick disconnects on the shoulder harness.
