We used to take off our fins on a drift dive in the channel between Panay Isle and Boracay during a raging current. It was like the moon photos as you said. 30-40 foot strides as we hopped/ran along the bottom. It was a blast.

during my OW dives, my instructor had us take our fins off and run a foot race during dive # 4. i thought it was a stupid thing to do then ......and still think its stupid

i think we need a poll on this sort of behaviour

So, I'm driving home today when onto the radio comes "Walking on the Moon."

Suddenly, I'm shifting and driving on autopilot, eyes glazed, breathing irregular, heart rate up a bit... As I'm transported back to those spectacular moments of low-gravity magic!!!

I remember the joy of springing effortlessly to the top of a wall higher than my head!

I feel again the fearless joy of swan diving off into blue space and flying gently toward "earth", staring into the lens of Ken's camera as he lies supine on the sand.

I'm twisting imaginatively through all the leaps and twirls and hand-springs that I got to try while my time and air lasted.

How long will these flashbacks continue?!?! The Police will never sound the same again

Relax take a deep breath..............Now the real reason you thought it was stupid was probably due to the fact you were not very good at it. No polls please, it might only hurt your feelings.
