I'd almost be afraid to be in the water with him. Looks like excellent vis for a "mudhole". Are they around all year?

They're there year round ...

First, you squirt bleach in there whole and they have to get out and no you are purposely pissing them off, you chase them while they are Inking you. Hand them a dungie, then pull it away. Grab a hold of them and wrestle them. Pull your Knife out and cut one of there tenticles off and enjoy it with your ling cod dinner. It will grow back, just dont cut the sex organ tenticle or you will really piss him off(you know how pissed you would be if someone cut yours off).

Then you could also take a camera and get so close of pictures that the strobe just irritates them enough for a long time, and they take your camera.

Take them out of the ocean, and put them in a aquarium to have sex(you know octopus porn).

Thats just a few, you can find other things to piss them, I'm sure of it.

I don't think this one was pissed off, really ... probably more just curious.

This was taken at our local mudhole by a friend of mine ...

Very entertaining video- do they ever get big enough you feel endangered? I mean I saw some in Hawaii that were supposeably taking sharks down and eating them- do they ever act that way towards divers?

i think there was a james bond film about this :eyebrow:
