I stopped the vid at 1:02 where you turned. I would drop the tank/BP down between 1/2 to 1 can width. The cans are at a little high. A crotch strap will keep the BP from working up on you. Fun diving with no wing isn't it?

Hmmm. the can is hitting the back of my head, isn't it. But even in that position, it still breathed very well . I'll try a crotch strap next time though. I'm still thinking of modding this back-pack though...

I think part of it may also be the ST 72's. For me they are a bit long and always bump against my butt when kicking. This tends to work the tank upwards.

Oh well, I'm not getting rid of either anytime soon

When I was trying to put the tank on the pack, since its the screw type and not the cam action type, it took me the better part of 5 minutes changing out. I was thinking about a haness at around that time...

I had the same problem with my ST72s. Installing crotch straps on my back packs cured the problem of the tanks riding up.

Somebody needs a Harness

Simonbeans makes reproduction harness's that are top notch. I own 2 of them. They put the tank right on your back properly positioned. This allows you to get the most performance out of any DH reg. You can get more info from him of course and I'm pretty sure he has a link in the VDH store.

I can add that I made my own harness and after buying the cotton webbing and hardware Alans prices turned out cheaper so it's definately good value.
Had fun making it though.
