Jax - How big and how heavy was the spool on the old TOW missiles?

Those were thin copper wires . . . and were still heavy as ****.
 
No problem. Just take a plastic tote, turn it upside down to trap air and then keep the working end of the tether in the air, nice and dry :D.

Outside of the box is the trick ;). OK so now we can send Kevin in to make it happen and Mat's sub should go in as a support vehicle.

Better yet, take a laptop and set up a live video feed. Skype conference anyone?
 
Has anyone considered catching and dissecting a few of the eels for forensic analysis of thier stomach contents?
 
Can the eels burrow under sand?
