So, ive always used a big bucket and freshwater to clean my gear, and hang it up in my garage before bringing it inside. How about yall? how do other people wash and clean their gear after dives?

okay i have a huge question. How dry should the inside of the bladder be? I really really really dont want to mess this part up. thanksAfter a sea dive, small stuff (gopro, computer, mask, lamp, regulators) gets soaked in the shop's rinse buckets if available and then go into tupperware/buckets to soak a bit more at home, after some rinsing under the sink.
Wetsuit, fins and bcd soak under the shower for a bit, then hung to dry (I use a broom stick across the top of the shower stall and hangers). The BCD will get filled and emptied with sink water two or three times as well, to clean out the bladder.
The boots get filled with soapy water, rinsed, put to dry in the balcony, then if the smell is too bad I put in some talcum powder to get rid of it.
After a fresh water dive, just a quick rinse under the sink/shower. Except for the booties - those still get a soapy rinse, or they smell like death by the following weekend.
