Not really - Continous flow is easy and cheap to set up, you can use it up to 40%, don't need O2 clean tanks or equipment. PP blending costs a fortune with either oil free or add on filters on your compressor.

It all depends upon your situation and frequency of use. For a dive shop I would agree. For an individual you can often do PP without a air compressor (which is very expensive to buy and operate). You can transfill O2 and He often from the source tanks and then top it with air. Add a small booster pump and the flexibility multiplies several times.

I have had and used both a personal fill station and a dive shop station.

Regarding Bruce, yes, he's still around doing ANDI courses, but Roger with us is also an ANDI Instructor Trainer (as well as TDI Instructor) and Aquanauts is a full ANDI Facility, one of only 2 in the country.
