The Galileo Sol is $1272, transmitter and heart rate monitor included. You have to be serious to "upgrade" to the G2, especially after the price increase. Scuba equipment is a funny business, very dependent on brand loyalty, without knowledge of objective information.

It's now Monday and Beaver's link is still showing it at $1050 + $400 for a transmitter. Maybe it's still too early out there on the Left Coast and the price just hasn't been changed online yet.
